SERVING THE DRYCLEANING INDUSTRY FOR OVER 60 YEARS

Poseidon introduces new Genius Series at Clean 2022

During Clean ’22, Poseidon Textile Care Systems® (Poseidon) showcased its complete product offering of textile care equipment and solutions. Drawing crowds were live demonstrations of the new Poseidon Genius Series Wet Cleaning Machines – touting the largest touchscreen user interface in the industry; Poseidon new-technology dryers, which safely dry even the most delicate fabrics; and Poseidon Flatwork Ironers, which quickly iron bed and table linens. Several end-user promotions, new and innovative custom finance options, and extended factory Platinum Warranties were also introduced.

“The show allowed us to provide real-life demonstrations of our wetcleaning machines, dryers and ironers,” said Poseidon’s Vice President of Sales Joel Jorgensen, “with the new Genius Series Wet Cleaning Machines stealing the show.”

The Genius Series machines (23- to 80-pound capacity), which are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and IoT (Internet of Things) ready, also feature the industry’s largest user interface, a 10-inch impact-, scratch- and water-resistant touchscreen; 360 Vision color corner lighting so machine status is easy to see; 450 G-force extract speeds for shorter cycle times, faster dry times and greater productivity; smart control updates via the cloud; a freestanding, soft-mount design for simple installations and machine durability; and quicker ramp up to programmed G-force speeds in half the time, even when a load is up to 15 percent out-of-balance – optimizing load performance and laundry productivity.

“The soft-mount Genius Series is our most productive wetcleaning line yet,” said Jorgensen. “It ramps up two minutes faster than our lower G-force soft-mount machines, even with a 15 percent out-of-balance load, and offers superior programmability for cleaning even the most delicate fabrics. We also love the onboard battery backup in case facilities lose power. This is really important in areas with a questionable grid, like California and Texas, or places with heavy storms and lightning, such as Florida.”

Poseidon’s presence at the show also focused on growing into new niche markets,” according to Jorgensen. “We focused on how to grow revenue as a textile care provider by adding an ironer to process commercial account bed and table linens,” he said.

Also spotlighted were Poseidon soft-mount and hard-mount Wetcleaning Machines and moisture-sensing and reversing Poseidon Dryers. Visitors were engaged by product and programming demonstrations, as well as opportunities to investigate Poseidon equipment and its advantages.
