The Drycleaning and Laundry Institute (DLI) and its regional partners are kicking off 2026 with a month of skill-building programs, expert-led webinars, and high-value networking opportunities designed to help garment care professionals sharpen their operations, improve customer experience, and boost business performance.
On Jan. 7, new and longtime DLI members can attend a Member Virtual Reception and Orientation where participants learn how to maximize their membership and take advantage of DLI’s most impactful toosl.
In the following week, the association will host its Marketing Masterclass on Jan. 15. The series offers insights owners can put to work immediately. Each one-hour session breaks down practical strategies to help cleaners improve visibility, strengthen customer relationships and increase revenue.
This month’s webinar by DLI will take place on Jan. 21. Dave Coyle of In the Bag Cleaners and Maverick Drycleaners will present “Tracking What Matters in 2026,” which gives a roadmap for increasing operational efficiency and boosting profits. Participants will learn the seven Key Profit Indicators that most influence business growth, how to evaluate performance using real time data; and how small adjustments can produce major profitability gains.
Also throughout the month, DLI will continue to offer its weekly peer-to-peer meetings that create a supportive space for members to share challenges, exchange innovative ideas and gain fresh perspectives from fellow operators. They take place every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. EST.
In terms of regional events, the Mid-Atlantic Association of Cleaners will be hosting its Maintenance Masterclass at 1 p.m. EST on Jan. 8. The topic will be “Reduce Breakdowns and Improve Equipment Reliability.” More information is available at www.MACassociation.org.
Later this month, the North Carolina Association of Launderers and Cleaners (NCALC) will host its 2026 Winter Meeting from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. For details see www.ncalc.org.
