SERVING THE DRYCLEANING INDUSTRY FOR OVER 60 YEARS

Ben Levine joins Sigma Plastics Group

The Sigma Plastics Group is happy to announce that Ben Levine has joined the company working in their Sigma Garment Films division.

Ben had been working in software sales after graduating from Florida State University in 2017 before his hire with Sigma in August 2023.

Ben will be actively involved in the Laundry and Dry-Cleaning industry while pursuing other Industrial and Custom Films opportunities for Sigma in the future.

He follows a long legacy of Levine’s in the industry. His great grandfather (Benny) worked for a big laundry in New York back in the early 1900’s, where his Grandfather (Joel) first got involved in the Laundry & Dry-Cleaning business. Joel, then moved to Atlanta in the 1950’s to open a territory for Liberty Marking Tag Company. He went on to sell Garment Film Bags and then ended his career in 1997 back in the Tag and Form business with Pittsburg Tag Company. Ben’s Father (Robert) became involved in the industry back in the late 1980’s selling Nylon Counter Bags and Laundry Nets for Greenbrook Industries, then spent a few years in the Distributor Supply business, and moved into Plastics in 1998 and is still with Sigma Plastics today.

“We are all very excited about Ben joining Sigma and continuing the Levine legacy” said Mark Teo, President, and CEO of the Sigma Plastics Group.

Sigma and the Teo family also have several generations of their family involved in their family business in the plastics industry. Ben is based out of Atlanta, Ga. and was recently married in April 2023. He can be reached at [email protected].
