Union Drycleaning Products President Jack Burnett, Jr, passed away peacefully last month following a long, courageous battle with cholangiocarinoma. He was 56 years old.
His career for Union spanned over 30 years, as he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to forging lifelong friendships and leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered. Often described as kind and wise, he had the presence of a gentleman and the reputation of a man whose word was his bond. His great passion that helped him excel as a professional in the work sphere carried over to his personal life, as well. He married his soulmate, Kristin Leigh Sizemore, in April of 1995, and together the couple built a life full of love and laughter for their family. He was a devoted husband, an adoring father and a proud grandfather.
Jack was an enthusiastic traveler, never turning down a Disney cruise, a vacation to 30A, or a trip to Disney World. He was also an avid fan of Harry Potter.
He is survived by his wife, Kristin; his sister, Lisa Jurchenko (Andrew Jurchenko); his three daughters: Emma Burnett Webb (Chris Webb), Claire Burnett Wilson (Max Wilson) and Alyce Burnett Head (Wesley Head); and his precious granddaughter Eleanor “Ellie” Webb. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
